David’s charity support

David has always had an infinity with animals. Having helped out for several years at the Bath Cats and Dogs home, he then moved to the Isle of Wight. One of his easiest decisions was to make his Bed and Breakfast into a dog friendly environment. I mean, lets face it, animals are easy compared to people! It was a decision that he never regretted.

On moving over to Portugal, David’s first move was to contact a local dog shelter, known as the Tiny shelter in Albufeira. On turning up, he was literally overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of clearly abused, abandoned and neglected animals. Isabel and her team of loyal volunteers have tried to save as many animals as possible, but with little funding, they are solely reliant on the generosity of others, in terms of time, money and help.

On discovering the Tiny shelter, David met Freddie, his new found loveable Pitbull. Freddie hadn’t had a good start to life and due to an outbreak of Parvo disease. The shelter lost many of its pups, but Freddie survivied. Seeing him close to death at the local vets, David and his mum vowed that should he get through this, he was coming home with them. He battled through and the rest is history.

The Tiny shelter is now moving to a new location, where they can look after the animals, with the care they deserve, but they are desperate for funding. This is why I have decided to donate a percentage of my sales to their cause. Should you wish to join me in making a donation, please use the following details, and check out the Tiny Shelter, Albufeira.
